How DJ SR looks after the details you share when you get in touch.

Last updated: October 2026

Who we are

DJ SR is a London event DJ. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean DJ SR. If you have any questions about your information, email info@dj-sr.co.uk.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through this website or email us, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, event date, venue, guest numbers, type of event and your message. We do not take payments or card details through this website.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, check availability and prepare a quote. If you book, we also use them to plan and deliver your event and to send invoices. We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing without your permission.

Our lawful basis

Under UK data protection law, we use your information because you have asked us to take steps before entering into a contract (your enquiry), to perform that contract (your booking), because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and to meet our legal obligations for accounting records.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your information. We only share it with the companies that host this website and our email, and, where your booking needs it, with your venue or event organiser. We may also share information if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 24 months. Booking and invoice records are kept for six years, as required for tax purposes.

Cookies and videos

This website uses only the cookies it needs to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Videos are hosted on this website, and the moving background on the Video DJ page loads from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set YouTube tracking cookies unless you start interacting with YouTube itself.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@dj-sr.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Keeping your information safe

This website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and enquiries are delivered straight to our business inbox.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
